Art de l’écriture.
Du graffiti primitif à la typographie expérimentale.
Issu du mouvement graffiti français de la fin des années 90 à Nancy (France), je suis un artiste autodidacte et pluri-disciplinaire (peinture, calligraphie, typographie, graffiti, gravure…), qui tire le pseudonyme “Hyperactivity” d’une énergie débordante et d’une multitude de sources d’inspiration que je cherche à réguler et à exprimer au travers de mes oeuvres, parfois complexes et fourmillantes de détails mais toujours instinctives.
En développant dans mes compositions artistiques une iconographie inspirée des arts premiers, des systèmes d’écritures actuels et anciens (alphabets, symboles, idéogrammes, écriture cunéiforme, hiéroglyphes…) mais aussi des graffiti et pixaçao plus récents, je cherche à rendre hommage à l’Histoire des civilisations et à prolonger les influences qu’elles ont laissées dans la société (culture, mythologie, arts…).
Au gré de mes inspirations et envies, j’alterne autant les thématiques que les techniques et les styles : peinture, graphisme vectoriel, graffiti, gravure, figuratif, abstrait…
A travers ce site, qu’il faut d’abord considérer comme un laboratoire de recherche artistique plutôt qu’une galerie d’oeuvres abouties, je souhaite consigner, exposer et partager mes expérimentations graphiques et peut-être laisser une trace à mon tour…

Art of writing, symbolism and ancient iconography.
Primitive graffiti to experimental typography.
Coming from the French graffiti movement of the late 90’s in Nancy (France), I am a self taught artist who draws the pseudonym « Hyperactivity » from a boundless energy and a multitude of sources of inspiration that I seek to regulate and to express through my work, sometimes complex and teeming details but always instinctive.
By developing in my artistic compositions an iconography inspired by primitive art, former and current writing systems (alphabets, symbols, ideograms, cuneiform, hieroglyphics …) but also graffiti and Pixação, I try to make a tribute to the history of civilizations and extend the influence they have left in society (culture, mythology, arts …).
According to my inspirations and desires, I alternate the themes, the techniques and the styles : painting, vector graphics, graffiti, printmaking, figurative, abstract …
Through this website, which must be regarded as a laboratory for artistic research rather than an accomplished works gallery, I wish to record, display and share my graphics experiments and perhaps leave a trace in my turn…
